Webinar Description:

Mechanized production is vitally important for many industries and businesses. As the demand for automated processes increases, so does the need for quick, reliable, and low-cost solutions to keep machinery constantly running. 3D measurement, imaging, and realization solutions have achieved this by enabling maintenance professionals to combine the physical world with digital and develop more effective and efficient maintenance techniques. This webinar explores the power and potential of 3D measurements for machinery by discussing the advantages and presenting a use case on the procedure.

About the Presenter:

Tony Planamento’s primary goal is to assist Maintenance & Reliability Professionals reduce/eliminate unplanned downtime of rotating machinery (~50% of which is due to misalignment!) through the utilization and implementation of laser alignment, vibration analysis, and balancing technologies. As a mechanical engineer, certified vibration analyst (ISO CAT II), and Certified Reliability Leader – he also wishes to educate his peers on the Industry 4.0 and IIoT movement, increase environmental awareness by increasing mechanical efficiency, and minimize the wasteful “run-to-fail” method that so many industries rely on.
