Implementation Strategy
Using a CMMS for Preventive Maintenance Planning and Asset Management
One of the biggest advantages of using a CMMS is the ability to implement a preventive maintenance program. This allows you to schedule regular maintenance tasks based on usage, time, or other factors, helping to ensure that your assets are always in good working order…

Predictive Maintenance Practices- Model for a Good Program– CONNECT Conversations
In this session we’ll be discussing this, along with various condition monitoring techniques, e.g., vibration, oil, IR, ultrasound, and perhaps others, and how and where to best apply them, and as importantly the systems and practices that need to be in place to optimize their performance, e.g., a direct link to the maintenance planning and scheduling process, and a proactive approach to eliminate the defects being detected.

Software Reliability
Software reliability is the probability that software will operate failure-free for a specified period of time in a specified environment. It is an important contributing factor impacting system reliability (which includes hardware and human reliability).
Checklist for Implementing an Electrical Preventative Maintenance Programme
Electrical equipment failures especially motors account for nearly half of facilities downtime, and the difference between a poor Electrical Preventative Maintenance programme and an excellent one is approximately 12 times.

The Importance of Predictive Maintenance
As early as the 1960’s, many companies realized that by routinely monitoring the operating condition of rotating equipment it is possible to obtain an advanced warning of operational or other problems that would impact continued efficient operation.

DIPF Curve
There are several areas people use integration tools in a reliability program. The DIPF Curve is one example to get the most value out of your reliability program.

Plan for Success: Identify Your Projects for the Year and Know “Why”
Once you figure out your "Top" priorities you want to accomplish, those need to be broken down into smaller steps to make them easier to tackle. Paul Dufresne will explain how this can be done.

Accelerometer Maximum Cable Length Calculator
When cables between the power supply and the accelerometer are short, less than 100 feet or 30 meters, circuit capacitance usually has no significant effect on the vibration data signals. Long cables may introduce sufficient capacitance into the sensor circuit to allow vibration signal distortion and produce spurious signals.
