Industrial AI for Asset Performance Management: A Framework for Success in Digital Transformation
Industrial AI has the potential to radically improve asset optimization. It also has the potential to exponentially increase backlog and overwhelm plant staff. Thousands of sensors, thousands of alerts, floods of data...What assets do you monitor? Which alerts must be responded to? What do you DO when get an alert? The value of digitalization for managing asset performance is only achieved when the right work is done to the right assets at the right time.

Improving Bearing Reliability in Overhung Fan Applications
This presentation is focused on improving reliability in overhung fan applications. Although the majority of the presentation is aimed at overhung fans, what we’ll discuss is relevant to many different types of rotating equipment, but especially those fitted with plummer block or pillow block bearing housings. The presentation details the common issues we see on overhung fans when analysing data and undertaking reliability surveys at client sites. Unfortunately a high proportion of issues we see stem from poor engineering practices rather than purely mechanical defects and in this presentation we will discuss the common errors.

Battle for Reliability- Fundamentals Win the Day
Let’s face the facts: Cool sensors, intelligent software and big data with analytics are way sexier than tightening bolts, greasing, and cleaning your machines. Bosses are people too! When they meet with other bosses, they want cool stuff like Industry 4.0 to tout. No one wants to hear about what really goes on in the trenches. The truth is: Making equipment reliable is an all-hands job. It requires attention across the whole company across all the equipment life cycles. Engineering, finance, procurement, maintenance, and operations have to work together to achieve the best reliability outcome.

Discover the Keys to Reliability Improvement Success
In the Spring of 2020, RELIABILITY CONNECT® collected more than 1,000 survey responses from maintenance and reliability professionals from all regions of the world. The survey data provides a rich benchmarking resource and underscores some important success factors for reliability programs. In this presentation, we will review the report and share the keys to reliability improvement success and provide you with insights that can be used to improve your reliability program immediately. We will also explore comparisons between programs with different maintenance cost performance levels.
