This position works closely with other engineers, maintenance skilled crafts, and production operators and supervisors. Duties vary depending on plant and department needs.

Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Intern will participate in troubleshooting equipment failures and designing system modifications and upgrades for a variety of mechanical and electrical projects. Example projects include investigating cause of water hammer, specifying upgraded flow monitoring equipment, determining cause for repeat break-downs on critical equipment, . The Maintenance and Reliability Engineering intern reports to the Reliability Superintendent and works closely with other engineers, maintenance skilled crafts, and production operators and supervisors. Duties vary depending on plant and department needs. A successful candidate will be required to progress multiple projects, communicate technical information to a variety of technical and non-technical employees, and be willing to work in a heavy industrial environment. Recent graduates are preferred, and there is potential to extend this internship beyond the summer.
