April 22, 2020 – Fort Myers, Florida – Mobius Institute™ and EPRA are pleased to announce they have entered a global alliance partnership, combining Mobius Institute’s leading knowledge and training expertise with EPRA’s community of electric power reliability practitioners.

As aging infrastructures, automation, machine learning, and maintenance 4.0 are continually evolving, and it is vital that electrical power systems and safety resources are available for those in production facilities, distribution systems, data centers, and commercial enterprises. The Mobius Institute-EPRA alliance partnership is a union of extensive skills in maintenance and reliability improvement and dynamic thought leadership to help support the development and awareness of the reliability of electric power systems.

“For me, while we started our journey as Mobius Institute with vibration analysis, the whole purpose of vibration analysis is to improve the reliability and the performance of the plant. During my 35 years of involvement in this field, my goal has always been to improve the reliability and performance of the plant. So, while all CBM testing techniques are important, it is impossible to have a goal like this without considering the electrical assets in a plant,” said Jason Tranter, CEO & Founder of Mobius Institute. “I think it is terrific to finally have a strong focus in the electrical area since it’s so important from a safety aspect, and also from a plant performance aspect as well.”

Additionally, Mobius Institute’s CEO & Founder, Jason Tranter, has accepted a role on EPRA’s esteemed Advisory Board, a network of resource partners that openly share their knowledge and best practices that focuses on providing actionable information to EPRA members.

By connecting Mobius Institute’s experience and network with EPRA’s commitment to electrical reliability knowledge and safety, the collaboration represents a change in the way practitioners will learn and enhance their reliability programs.
